The 2009 City Dog Licenses are available at the Centre at a cost of

$10.00 for spayed/neutered pets.
The City of Prince Albert does not require that cats be licensed at this time.

By purchasing a license at our location, you make a donation.
Our Centre receives $9.00 of the $10.00 to assist us with offsetting our operational costs.

Any dog that is over four months old must be licensed according to the

Animal Control Bylaw (No. 17 of 2003).
The licensing year runs from January 1 to December 31 and requires

dog owners to renew the license prior to its expiration.

Upon purchase, the owner is supplied with a current tag and a receipt for payment.
The owner is responsible for ensuring that a current license tag is attached to a

dog's collar whenever the dog is off the premises of the owner.

If a license tag is lost or destroyed, the owner will be issued a

replacement license tag at an additional cost.
